He is currently serving as the Director of Educational Technology Services and CTAP Region 5 for the Santa Clara County Office of Education. He is also the System Administrator for the Region 5 Online Blackboard Professional Development system, Region 5 web servers, and the Macromedia Breeze Server. He manages the Educational Technology Services Department at the Santa Clara County Office of Education and provides staff development and training in curriculum development, instructional design, computer applications, multimedia development, technology integration, AB75 Administrator and Private School Principal Training, Blackboard, Breeze, and other educational technology related programs..
He is married to wife, Fran and has two teenage children: Michael, age 16 and Michelle, 20. He's a former business owner, high school teacher and basketball coach and in his leisure time, he dabbles in woodworking and furniture making, marketing, and real estate.
